Bridge City Speedway, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A mere 1600km, 14 hour drive (each way) from home base in Kelowna, BC.

Darren Turner signing autographs during the afternoon before the race. This was the season opening event for CASCAR's western division in 2000. It would also mark the first time Darren Turner and his Western Star Trucks / Turner Racing team would field their own race car in a CASCAR event. Darren's previous racing experience in this series had been driving cars belonging to other racing teams.
